7th Grade Football Game Canceled Tonight!

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 16, from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
School will be dismissed early at 2:00 p.m. for students on that day.

There will be NO school on Friday, October 17.

📚 Reminder to our Leopard Family: De Queen Public Schools will release early at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 16th. Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place that evening from 2:30–7:00 PM. We look forward to seeing our parents and guardians! School will not be in session Friday, October 17th. #LeopardFamily

Lieutenant Michael Barnes from the De Queen Police Department engaged with De Queen Middle School students this week, discussing important topics like cyber safety, the risks of vaping, and the impact of social media bullying. Awareness is key to a safer future.

Teachers and students at De Queen Middle School proudly showed their school spirit today by participating in Pink Out Day, wearing pink to raise awareness and show support for breast cancer awareness.

We want to extend a huge shout out to our amazing custodians! Your hard work keeps our school clean and safe every day. Thank you for all you do!

OCTOBER UPCOMING EVENTS

Each month, faculty and staff at DMS vote for students who exemplify what it means to be a Good Citizen.
A Good Citizen at school is someone who is:
Respectful – treating classmates, teachers, and staff with kindness and courtesy
Responsible – following school rules and taking ownership of their actions
Cooperative – working well with others and helping create a positive school environment

These students stand out by helping others, taking care of the school, and setting a great example for their peers.
