Who would have thought that a group of third graders could cook up a lesson in kindness along with a hearty pot of soup?

Today’s "Senior Citizen's" Thanksgiving Banquet was a smashing success! We had a delightful mix of familiar faces and some new ones. DES is thrilled to sprinkle a bit of joy and nourishment into their day—like gravy on mashed potatoes! Mrs. Miles' 4th graders are diving into the wacky world of waves! They're having a blast twisting and turning transverse and longitudinal waves with the help of some super cool Gizmo activities. It's like a science party where the waves are the guests of honor!
